The present invention concerns an ignition device for igniting fuel within a heating boiler having a combustion section operating according to the fluidized bed principle. The ignition device comprises a jacket-like body portion with a surface facing away from the fluidized bed of particles such as sand being furnished with a heating member, and the surface of the jacket-like body portion facing the fluidized bed of particles having heat transfer elements. The heat transfer elements may be rib-shaped, while a lagging or equivalent structure may encircle the ignition device, to form an intermediate space therebetween through which combustion gas is arranged to flow into the jacket-like body portion. A member for pre-heating the combustion gas flowing through this intermediate space, may also be provided, which is in turn cooled by the inflowing combustion gas.

The invention relates to energy and can be used in boilers with a fluidized bed.
The aim of the invention is to increase heat transfer.
FIG. 1 schematically shows a boiler equipped with an ignition device in FIG. 2 - ignition device for fluidized bed boiler; in FIG. 3, the same with inclined ribs}; in FIG. 4 and 5 are the same, the versions, / j. The ignition device for boiler 1 | with a fluidized bed 2 contains a combustion chamber 3 equipped with a shell A and a heating element 5 installed outside the shell A, the latter being supplied with heat-transfer agents ribs 6, arranged longitudinally or obliquely on the inner side of the shell 4.
The angle of inclination of the ribs 6 may be O ... 70 °, preferably 0 ... 50.
The device may be provided with an additional ribbed shell 7 mounted on the outside of the main shell 4 to form the last annular cavity 8.
The device can also be provided with thermal insulation 9 installed around the shell with the formation of a gap 10 for heating the air going to the combustion.
In addition, boiler 1 contains a water jacket AND with heat insulation 9, fuel inlet 12, pipe 13, air intake from a blower (not shown)
Heating element 5 may. be shaped in the form of a spiral-shaped electrical resistance (Fig. 2) of the heat flow or heating liquid medium (Fig. 3). It may have a ring shape (Fig. 4) or square, rectangular (not shown). The shell 4 contains at the bottom a connecting pipe 14 through which air passes through the layer 2 to the combustion.

During operation of the ignition device, the heating element 5 of any of the described structures in the phase of starting the boiler 1- heats the layer 2 to the fuel ignition temperature. During boiler operation 1, said ignition device serves as a combustion zone. Due to the inclination of the fins 6 during the operation of the boiler during fuel combustion, radial mixing of the material of the layer 2 and the fuel occurs, as well as partial vortex movement of the flue gases. Described device will reduce the size of the boiler 1 in height.

Claims (4)

1. An ignition device for a fluidized bed boiler containing a combustion chamber equipped with a shell and a heating element, characterized in that, in order to increase heat transfer, the heating element is installed on the outside of the shell provided with heat transfer elements in the form of ribs arranged longitudinally or obliquely on the inside of the shell.

2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the angle of inclination of the ribs is 0 ... 70, preferably 0 ... 50,
